Data Informed Decision Making for Divisions (Monday, July 14th)

 Audience: Division-level teams

Description: Data-Informed Decision Making for Divisions is a professional learning session that will demonstrate and allow division level teams the time and space to use a problem-solving process to identify and address division concerns. During the session, we will guide you to precisely define your concern, conduct a root-cause analysis to explore the “why” of your concern, establish meaningful and achievable goals, select and implement impactful practices, and effectively and efficiently evaluate progress. This event will provide an opportunity to explore a data-informed decision making process that can help take the guesswork out of selecting the interventions and supports that will meet the needs of your families, students, and staff to improve identified outcomes.

As a school team, you leave this day having worked through identifying your school's biggest challenge area, the “why” behind this area, and the potential gaps in data you need to collect. Advanced Tiers Team Learn & Work Session (Wednesday, July 16 & Thursday, July 17)

Audience: School-level teams with Division Coaches

(This event is designed to support schools that are “ready” to move forward with exploring and/or installing Tier 2 systems in their school. School teams should have a strong Tier 1 in place to support students and be ready to set up or enhance systems for students needing additional support. It is essential that the team members in attendance include division leaders, specialists (such as behavior, academic, and SEL specialists/coaches), school administration, school counselors, and general/special education teachers who will be supporting Tier 2 implementation.)

Description: This two-day event is designed to provide an overview of the core components of advanced tiers, followed by team time. During team time, participants can review their teaming structures, dive more in-depth into screening and requests for assistance, develop decision rules, or explore the resources available to support students in Tier 2. This time will be customized to the division/school’s needs and supported by their state coaches.
